Maple Caramel Upside Down Apple Cake

No fillings, frostings, or garnishing needed here - just a quick microwave caramel, some delicious sliced apples, and a to-die-for light and fluffy cake to soak up all that tasty flavor!

Cook caramel for 1 minute in the microwave, then cast into an 8" pan.

Press sliced apples into the caramel.

Combine wet ingredients, then dry ingredients in seperate bowls.

Work butter and dry ingredients together to form course crumbs.

Mix in wet ingredients, then spread batter on top of apples.

Bake until golden brown, then cool for 5 minutes in the pan.

Flip onto serving plate, leave inverted for 5 minutes, then remove pan and enjoy!
