Homemade French Raspberry Jam

French Raspberry Jam uses only 3 simple ingredients, can be made with red or black raspberries, and requires no pectin at all to make the world's best homemade raspberry jam!

Add berries, sugar, and lemon juice to a large pot.


Smash berries and mix with other ingredients to make a uniform slurry.


Turn on heat, bring to a boil, and maintain a slow rolling boil for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.


Remove from heat at 15 minutes, or when temperature reaches 218°F/103°C on an instant-read thermometer.
