Fresh Mint Simple Syrup Recipe
This fresh mint simple syrup is ideal for soaking cakes, sweetening cocktails and so much more, while adding a perfect hint of freshness!
Carefully add water then sugar to a pan and gently stir together.
Heat to a boil and allow to cook until clear - don't stir while it cooks!
Once clear, remove from heat and add in fresh mint leaves. Submerge and crush the leaves in the syrup to release their flavorful oils.
Cover and allow to infuse for 12-24 hours in the fridge.
After infusion, strain and keep in the fridge for up to one month.
